What is a zipped file?ZIP is a common file format used to compress and collect one or more files into a single file. It has the file extension .zip. The zipped Retirement Planner is named jlplanr.zip. Windows XP can read ZIP files. If you are using a system other than XP you will need a program to uncompress a ZIP file. There are unzipping programs available on the Internet. For example, PKZIP, BitZipper, and WinZip, are three popular options. There are also other programs available to uncompress a zipped file. After you download the jlplanr.zip and unzip it you must run the setup.exe program included to install the J&L Financial Planner Software. |
